Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 157 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Your site is great, apart from which regularly takes 10+ seconds to respond and greatly disturbs my user experience. Please could you consider making these servers a touch faster so that I'm not penalised for helping you make some cash!

P.s. - I'm using Chromium / Ubuntu on a UK broadband connection, although I suspect you know that already ;-)

@Peter - of course, that was over a year ago... a long time in SO – Marc Gravell Sep 6 '10 at 21:41
Though I do not see a ten second delay. I agree that the way we are re-flowing the document and heavily delaying our onload handlers is really problematic – waffles Sep 6 '10 at 22:40
