Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 157 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

This question has been asked before and already has an answer. If those answers do not fully address your question, please ask a new question.

You get this badge for retagging a question (editing the tags). You can only get it once, and only for retagging a question that you have not asked yourself.

In order to be able to retag questions, you need a certain amount of reputation (500 points on established sites, 200 points on beta ones).

@Mithun: ah, that's probably because I haven't made it very clear that you can't see the "retag" link at all if you don't have enough rep to use it. – ЯegDwight Sep 28 '10 at 13:00

23 is certainly no enough then ;-) – humblePilgrim Sep 28 '10 at 13:01

@Mithun: yep, as I said, you'll need at least 200 points (or 500 on SOFU). – ЯegDwight Sep 28 '10 at 13:02

They really need to clarify in the badge's description that it has to be done on somebody else's question. – user236578 Dec 18 '13 at 14:55
