I asked a question on Area 51 concerning Entity Framework and how to code the various design patterns using it (repository, unit of work, etc). There are some good starter white pages out there, but many are incomplete.

Feedback simply said that it was a SO subset. However, SO really doesn't have any kind of aggregation of conclusions, other than a Google like keyword search. I want to read about EF under the scope of C#, definitions of POCO as they relate to EF, and that predicates are useful when designing repositories (explaining how EF would resolve them), etc. Have one-off topics like how to create services to return view models that use repositories and why this is important.

It would be nice to at least have a hierarchy of the topics, a table of contents so to speak. Some way to ask questions after drilling down through related material.

My two cents. :)

According to your Area 51 profile, you've never posted an example question there. And you are only on TeX as far as Beta sites are concerned, and you don't have any questions there, either. So... where is this Entity Framework question? Or did you delete it? –  Grace Note Oct 1 '10 at 18:31

I deleted the Area 51 questions. They said they should be handled within SO. So this is a suggestion for SO. –  Dr. Zim Oct 25 '10 at 15:08

This question here is not a duplicate of this other: meta.stackexchange.com/questions/159737/… . Why was it closed? –  quinestor Dec 20 '12 at 21:42
