Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 157 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Just noticed this user [name deleted] is spamming StackOverflow entries with the same link-farm hyperlink over and over.

What is the process of getting them removed/banned?

Thanks -- in the future just flag the content, or if it's particularly egregious / urgent, email us via the link provided at the bottom of every page.

I was looking for a flag, must be suffering code-blindness. I see it now very clearly :) I noticed that any down-vote points are lost after user deletion... the flag is definitely the way to go. – Gone Coding Oct 4 '10 at 9:18

@HiTech Magic: The "lost rep" will return after a rep recalc, your "real" rep is shown at stackoverflow.com/reputation – Tobias Kienzler Oct 4 '10 at 11:13
