Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

It would be nice to see the average reputation for a selection in the reputation graph, because it's quite a job to calculate it manually.

Average of selection - example

Well, for now you can use this instead :)

var t = 0,
    start = new Date($('#start-date').val()),
    end = new Date($('#end-date').val());

$('.repcell .grpos').each(function(){
    t += parseInt($(this).text(), 10);

console.log('Average rep gain per day: ' + (t / ((end - start)/(1000 * 60 * 60 * 24))));

Haha, nice solution :] I'll make a Chrome plugin for this :] – Harmen Oct 30 '10 at 12:13
I made a Chrome plug-in for it, if someone else is interested I'll post it on meta in a separate topic. – Harmen Oct 30 '10 at 13:54
I'm getting NaN as a result, possibly because of changes to the way the rep page works. – Pops May 29 '12 at 17:42
