Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 153 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I just discovere UI Stack Exchange, and its Area 51 page has two issues on "Worrying" status. Should I worry?

Wouldn't this belong on the of Meta of UI? – Time Traveling Bobby Nov 8 '10 at 10:07

@Bobby, no as there are lots of Area 51 sites that the same quesions could be asked of, so it is a overall policy question. – Ian Ringrose Nov 8 '10 at 11:04

See the related blog post. The answer is that some sites with worrying status simply will stay in beta longer. As long as a site has great content, it will be allowed to continue. If it doesn't, it might be mothballed until it can be improved.

Well, as long as it's public, it doesn't really matter if it's beta or not. Thanks. – ripper234 Nov 8 '10 at 14:25
