Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Maybe he fell asleep while writing the comment. (But then why would he type the "..."?) – Jim Lewis Dec 14 '10 at 6:36

Comments may have a length of six hundred characters (This is displayed while you are typing). You cannot enter more characters in the comment box, so there is no need to truncate longer comments.

The trailing ... have been entered by the user.

Ellipsis is used in some languages when trailing parts of a sentence will be omited.
