Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I think it would be very helpful to see the close reason at once. The most frequent reasons are

  • off topic
  • duplicate question
  • migrated too

I often look at SQL questions in stackoverflow and there seems to be lots of duplicate questions and I would like to have a quick way to ignore the duplicates.

Duplicates have the words Possible Duplicate, in bold, automatically inserted as the very first line of the question. Am I missing something? – ЯegDwight Dec 30 '10 at 11:39
Agree, when you look at the individual question, I refer to the lists like newest. – bernd_k Dec 30 '10 at 11:42
Are you referring to the title, similar to [Closed]? – Kobi Dec 30 '10 at 13:06
Yes. 'Possible Duplicate' is there in the two lines of the text, but not the bold. – bernd_k Dec 30 '10 at 14:14
You could just ignore all closed questions, regardless of close reason... – sth Dec 30 '10 at 14:54
would be nice to have a filter for that – bernd_k Dec 30 '10 at 14:58
closed:0 is the filter – random Dec 30 '10 at 15:12
this one is closed as duplicate…, but the list only shows: Some way to put emphasis on code, please [closed] … Since the syntax highlighter knows from comments, you could recogn … as matching delimiters (using whatever comment syntax is active). … – bernd_k Dec 31 '10 at 13:51
