Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 153 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

The Area 51 Discussion site has a square border around the search box which itself is rounded. Looks a little amateurish to me.

Ah, so the rounded search box is what's different. I think I have a user style that's doing that. So I guess that square border is how it's supposed to look. – BenV Jan 27 '11 at 23:46

From what I know that is about the new design on Area 51
