Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 153 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I suggest to add information about backticks to the comment help.

They can be used to mark code in comments too (in case some one does not know ;o)).

Update:

Uh, I should go to bed.... it's already there, never mind guys!

It's already there:

Comments use mini-Markdown formatting: [link](http://example.com) _italic_ **bold** `code`.

Oops, I was too quick in reading.... thanks. Maybe it should be more obvious then ;) (just trying to rescue myself ;)) – Felix Feb 4 '11 at 2:28

I tried it and it didn't work: ` g_Setup.RibbonMinimized :=ribMain.Minimized; g_Setup.Rpt_NewPageAfterEachSessionChildItem :=actRpt_NewPageAfterEachSessionChildItem.Checked;` – X-Ray Jun 1 '11 at 15:10

@X-Ray, it's working fine for me: g_Setup.RibbonMinimized :=ribMain.Minimized; g_Setup.Rpt_NewPageAfterEachSessionChildItem :=actRpt_NewPageAfterEachSessionChildItem.Checked; That much code you're probably better off putting in an edit, though. – Karl Bielefeldt Jun 1 '11 at 15:27
