Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 155 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I recently became aware that we should accept answers. I want to get my rate up so I don't turn into a leach and a loser. ;)

Yesterday, I went back and accepted answers on my old questions, but only about half of them show the "accepted" status on my "activity" tab. Does Stack Overflow only look so far back?

This question came from our site for professional and enthusiast programmers.

It takes a while for it to be reflected. I see that you've accepted answers for all but one of your questions with answers, and you have an accept rate of 83%. Also, this belongs to Meta. – Matti Virkkunen Feb 4 '11 at 21:50
I like that there's a related question with exactly the same title, but it's not a duplicate – Michael Mrozek Feb 4 '11 at 22:01
