Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 153 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I love the suggested-edits feature that was recently added onto Stack Exchange. However, this feature seems to be missing in per-site metas.

For instance:

The parent websites, do have the edit/improve this post link however.

This is by design -- we don't think the metas need this feature.

This is perhaps the first time you've said something was "by design" and I agreed that it should be done that way. – Super Long Names are Hilarious Feb 7 '11 at 9:12

Just this one occasion I needed to edit a Meta post, left a comment for it anyway. – Sathya Feb 7 '11 at 14:38
