Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Could we get an accesskey to the submit 'Post Your Answer'/'Save edit'/etc buttons?

I'm used to use Alt+S for such action from many websites and programs. Or is there some key binding I don't know about?

Tab then Enter/Spacebar? I'm not sure they'll add another keyboard shortcut for such a feature, they've already removed some and have no plans (AFAIK) to add them back. – Jeff Mercado Feb 27 '11 at 5:14
Why did they remove it? Since I'm most of the time on laptop (without a mouse and scrolling wheel), an easy access to the buttons "down there" makes life easier. – Czechnology Feb 27 '11 at 13:03
See Jeff's response for when they removed the shortcut to save a draft. – Jeff Mercado Feb 28 '11 at 6:07
Thanks for the info. – Czechnology Feb 28 '11 at 20:43
