Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I saw we can now have Area 51 proposal ads to put on our sites. That's awesome.

Now, can we please also have the option to tack on our referrer code?

Done. A proposal's embed script (with referral code) is now accessible from its "Share This" popup, which is shown once you've followed or committed to a proposal:

I love you people!! – Alex Angas Mar 2 '11 at 1:16
Would you please be so kind as to include the script version in that dialog as well? The iframe version doesn't work in WordPress blogs. – Alex Angas Mar 2 '11 at 1:31
@Alex It's already possible. Just add ?referrer=foo to the script src. I suppose we should include the script version in the popup too so that's more clear.. – Emmett Mar 2 '11 at 3:14
@Emmett: If you wouldn't mind. :) – Alex Angas Mar 2 '11 at 3:19
@Alex The popup includes the script version as well now. – Emmett Mar 2 '11 at 18:58
@Emmett: Thanks!! – Alex Angas Mar 2 '11 at 22:35

You could write some javascript to referrify the link of the a51-ad object in that iframe.
