Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

The S in the StackExchange dropdown on Gaming is lowercased. Is this intentional?

I mentioned this to Jin in chat earlier, so hopefully it's already on the to-do list. – Tim Stone Mar 11 '11 at 7:37

In your post, the space in its name is missing! – Arjan Mar 11 '11 at 20:07

@Arjan: I don't think it should have a space. It doesn't have a space in either image. Stack Overflow also doesn't have a space in it's logo. – Dexter Mar 15 '11 at 2:12

@Dexter, surely there's a difference in writing a name (like you did) and using a logo (which is what is above the dropdown). As an aside: the logo is partly bold to indicate there are two words. – Arjan Mar 15 '11 at 7:48

@Arjan: What about FedEx? I think it's important to be consistent. You shouldn't have one way for writing and another for logos. – Dexter Mar 16 '11 at 2:15

One thing is sure: the names need a space. (Sure, your question is an edge case, given it's about the logo, though that is only clear given the screenshots.) – Arjan Mar 16 '11 at 7:16

It was not intentional, thanks for catching this. I have updated the sprites for gaming and gaming meta. Will be in the next deployment.
