Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

If there is an error when someone is making changes to a question, one will notice that the error message is at the bottom of the page. This means that if the question happens to be rather long, it is not easily identifiable what the problem is after submitting an edit.

Here is an image an edit page where the save edits button has been pressed, however, the error on why the changes didn't get applied (title too short) are at the bottom of the page:

Perhaps it would be a better idea if the error message was moved to the top of the page.
