Should be added as synonym of ? Should it be merged as well? Maybe along with ? Or should the synonyms be left as they are?

Do you mean you don't think if-else and ifelse are proper tags? Or if-else-statement too? If the former, should they just be merged into if-else-statement then? –  Acorn May 2 '11 at 15:53

Yeah, I'm not sure these tags make a lot of sense. The behavior of an if-else statement changes depending on the language. Thus, a language tag being a requirement, this one seems pretty useless. –  Cody Gray May 2 '11 at 16:29
Why merge to if-else-statement? That's longer, less useful (not all languages call them “statements”) and less full of unicorn-goodness than simple if-else. –  Donal Fellows May 2 '11 at 23:57
