Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

There's a synonym suggestion pending for & . This is to request moderator intervention to help consolidate these.

MQSeries is the old name of WebSphere MQ.
is accurate but more generic than .

Having all of these splits the participation three ways for what should be the same group of content but since it's a low-volume tag, intervention is requested to complete the retagging.

You're welcome. For your own reference, the tag syntax is [tag:<name>] for the parent site tags (so Stack Overflow here), and [meta-tag:<name>] for the meta site tags. – Grace Note May 2 '11 at 19:42
@Grace - I pulled the question up under edit and see the markdown for the tags. Pretty cool! BTW - I know the moderator duties are crowdsourced so no hurry, but how long would a retag request of this nature normally be expected to take? – mqrus May 5 '11 at 15:23
It depends a lot on the volume of flags (which has always been high on Stack Overflow, but has done nothing but soar since flag weight was introduced), which determines whether or not any moderators have free time to just search for open retag-requests. I would be patient for a while longer. – Grace Note May 5 '11 at 15:35
