Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I found this question, and it has horrid spelling/grammar/formatting that I'd like to correct. Usually I find an Edit link under a question so I can suggest a revision to it. In this case, it's missing, as pictured here:

no edit link

Why can't I suggest an edit for this question?

Oh you wanted "Argument Reality"? That's down the hall. – Rick Sladkey May 16 '11 at 18:20

You may be interested in this proposal, if you find the "hiding of the edit link" behavior confusing. – Grace Note May 16 '11 at 19:30

There was already a suggested edit for the question. Now that it has been approved, the edit link should reappear.

Ah, wasn't aware that causes the link to disappear. I just checked the question again, and it looks a lot nicer and the edit link is now there. Thanks! – adamjford May 16 '11 at 17:56
