Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 157 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

I would suggest to "map" the tag to be a synonym of to be in line with other synonyms in the SQL Server area.

Can't create a suggestion for that myself, since I'm not a moderator (version specific synonyms are for mods only) ....

"Version specific synonyms are for mods only" I had no idea. Is that documented somewhere? Or do you just get an error when you try to propose them? – Cody Gray Jul 4 '11 at 12:43

@Cody Gray: got an error trying to propose.... – marc_s Jul 4 '11 at 13:13

@Cody: It's probably just the standard "you need 5 score in this tag to propose a synonym." It's certainly not an issue with rep. ;) – Jon Seigel Jul 5 '11 at 2:29
