Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

The tag currently has around 1,500 questions. The tag has a measly 74, and since these are obviously the same thing (note the explanation in the tag-wiki), could someone with sufficient power merge those to clear up the confusion?

Or perhaps just make apache-solr -> solr – M. Tibbits Jul 9 '11 at 22:28
I think that was what I meant to say – so that solr is the correct tag – the name is unique by itself, so apache is just noise in this regard. – mikl Jul 9 '11 at 22:42
