Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

It would be nice if SO backend would save users preferenced height of THIS textearea (I'm writing there right now) for later use. I'bored about resizing it everytime I access editor

I like that it starts over. Though there are some cases where I expand the text area to read a particularly long post, I want it to return to "normal" size the next time I go to post. – Cody Gray Jul 15 '11 at 8:25
yea, there could be also checkbox after you resize it: "keep it?" "yes" "no" – genesis Jul 15 '11 at 13:16
