Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 153 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Here's a serious bug with the new mobile theme that was rolled out.

http://meta.stackoverflow.com/mobile/on and http://meta.stackoverflow.com/mobile/off can be forced upon someone because they use GET rather than POST.

This has been fixed.

More annoying than serious, but still a bug.

How does one use the mobile theme now? – uɐɯsO uɐɥʇɐN Jul 18 '11 at 19:22

@George - the mobile link that's been on the bottom of every page for a day or two now. – Kevin Montrose Jul 18 '11 at 19:23

Great, thanks for fixing this! – uɐɯsO uɐɥʇɐN Jul 18 '11 at 19:25

I don't think it's dangerous, those actions just alter your session.

edit: I had attempted to trigger rep recalc, but that requires a POST apparently. The OP mentioned actions work with a GET request.

Rep recalc had the same bug, but they fixed it pretty fast – Michael Mrozek Jul 18 '11 at 18:50
