Meta Stack Exchange is where users like you discuss bugs, features, and support issues that affect the software powering all 158 Stack Exchange communities.

What is meta?
Here's how it works:
  1. Any Stack Exchange user can ask a question
  2. The community provides support, votes on ideas, and reports bugs
  3. Your voice helps shape the way Stack Exchange operates

Has any analysis been done of how often the "you have not voted on a question recently" reminder generates an up-vote for the question being viewed at the time?

I've a suspicion that the correlation would be strong; when the reminder appears, that question is the one that gets a vote.

Alternatively, a study could be done on how often a user who sees that pop-up notification posts a sharply-worded criticism on Meta tagged as [bug]. – Cody Gray Jul 20 '11 at 14:52
Also, [feature-request] how can I get this reminder to pop up on my questions every time – Daniel DiPaolo Jul 20 '11 at 14:55
I'm guilty of this – IAbstract Jul 20 '11 at 15:17
