We've now pushed StopTheSearch.com public!
Okay, technically it has been for a few weeks for people here, but it now is being pushed out to the world at large. We chose today for two reasons 1. it is the international blogger day of action dedicated to climate change and 2. we've got one week left before the International Day of Climate Action - just enough time for us to launch a small contest with our site's debut.
Of course, the engine is still in Beta so this is a bit risky and the openid issue still exists so this is a bit risky but we've made the contest as easy to enter as possible. people just need to come by and enter their climate saving pledge and tag their post with 350.org to get entered.
Partially this contest is to encourage people to check out the site so I'll be really happy if I get new signups and users... but also the contest is really to raise awareness of the seriousness of the climate change issue and encourage people to change the way they view the world.
So please, check out the contest overview/rules at http://stopthesearch.wordpress.com and commit to making a difference at http://www.stopthesearch.com.
