Feb 15, 2015 at 22:09 | comment | added | got trolled too much this week | Based on my experience, the problem with all of these solutions is the "sharks' frenzy" in answering easy questions. The 10k+ users which specialize in such answers this will counteract all of these: they can even delete your comment; they'll upvote the question (giving more rep that you subtract by downvoting by a factor of 2.5), and they get themselves for answering it, which further elevates theirs status. They may also counter-vote the closure, but only if it's before they managed to answer; a closure after it's actually to their advantage because no more answers can be posted. | |
