E.g. tag "ssl" on Serverfault: sysad topics related to "ssl", "ssl" on Stack Overflow: programming related, "ssl" on "Superuser", "Security" etc. Automating this by number of questions per tag and assuming tags with same name are the same could make a huge mess of it.

Mar 1, 2011 at 19:26 comment added wildpeaks If I take the example from the similar suggestion that was closed (meta.stackexchange.com/questions/81209/…), on Stackoverflow, questions would be tagged "drupal", but on "Drupal Answers", popular tags would be more specific things such as "ahah" or "forms-api", hence you can't assume the most popular tags will be relevant.
