So I can see how users might misinterpret your suggestion. If it's not code, don't format it as such. If it is, then it's a valid suggestion. | |

If I understand correctly, he's merely stating that authors tend to occasionally forget to properly format their in-line code. In which case formatting it would be appropriate. Of course it isn't a general highlighting tool. | |
