Oct 28, 2014 at 15:48 | comment | added | gnat | last time it happened, the process was about like this: 1) Should the weight of question upvotes be reduced? 2) Important Reputation Rule Changes 3) The Great Reputation Recalc Begins... 4) New reputation changes. Is applying it retroactively fair?
Oct 28, 2014 at 14:54 | comment | added | Martijn Pieters | on StackApps.com question upvotes are worth +10, so the option certainly appears to exist.
Oct 28, 2014 at 14:53 | comment | added | Geobits | @Andy Maybe. But even with it bumped to 10, you'd still need 20+ upvotes to get an association bonus elsewhere. If the association bonus is just intended to skip the "I know how to use SE" rep barriers like commenting (which is how I understand it), I don't see why +20 on questions should be much different than +20 on answers (or +40 on questions, or combination, etc).
