Oct 27, 2019 at 1:37 | comment | added | Michael Freidgeim | @RobertLongson, my question was about the source of the term. Catija’s answer explains it. More precisely ( knowing the answer) would be to say “Is “Stacker” a common term for Stack Overflow members ** or for Stack Overflow staff** or just invented by her?” But I didn’t consider that separation between community and staff is the critical in this context. BTW, on the time when “The Many Memes of Meta” was created, there was not so much gap between them.

Oct 26, 2019 at 20:47 | comment | added | Robert Longson | Catija's answer shows it's not a common term, it's something internal only.
Oct 26, 2019 at 20:05 | comment | added | Michael Freidgeim | @RobertLongson, “if it's not in there, it's not a common term”. It’s more appropriate as an answer, rather than a reason to treat as duplicate. The referred question doesn’t pretend to be a complete list of common terms in Stack Exchange world. Catija’s answer below proves it.

Oct 26, 2019 at 17:07 | comment | added | Robert Longson | @MichaelFreidgeim that's all the common terms, if it's not in there, it's not a common term.
Oct 26, 2019 at 17:01 | comment | added | Michael Freidgeim | @RobertLongson, I updated the question to clarify why it is not a duplicate of ‘The Many Memes of Meta”. Thanks for the link anyway. Some answers are funny

Oct 26, 2019 at 14:21 | comment | added | πάντα ῥεῖ | @MetaAndrewT. Well, "gold badger" is pretty well used and unambigous for certain privileges.
Oct 26, 2019 at 14:11 | comment | added | Meta Andrew T. | People invented words all the time ;) while I almost never use "Stacker" to refer to SO and SE users, it's still understandable compared to "Overflower" or "Exchanger"... and then we also have "gold badger" :)
Oct 26, 2019 at 13:28 | comment | added | Lightness Races in Orbit | @πάνταῥεῖ Kind of an ironic dissociation

Oct 26, 2019 at 12:13 | comment | added | Glorfindel Mod | Interestingly, there's an old Dutch word "stakker" which means "pitiable person"...
