I'm all in favour of encouraging the asked postingasker to post a jsFiddle/jsbin/whatever example in addition to posting at least some code in the question, but I'm absolutely against only posting a jsFiddle example.

If a question is at all unclear without the jsFiddle example, I think it's an unacceptable dependency. There are any number of ways the example could become unavailable (e.g. asker deletes it, jsFiddle changes its URL scheme, jsFiddle ceases to exist, jsFiddle gets bought and changes its name, jsFiddle or has a big outage...)
