We incidentally created a second account for you based on your SO activity when we migrated to Careers 2.0 Basically, you had two accounts in addition to migrating your old accountthe system (rather than just keeping your old accountone of which was created automatically). This new account is now linked to your SO account and so when you go to careers that's how you'd be You were logged in automatically. The new account is also theas one, accepted the invite is now associated with. We did detect the old account, and the requesttried to logcreate a profile but couldn't because the email was already registered, then you logged out and backlogged in was so we could authenticate your it and theoretically merge the two, but this clearly did not work as intendedthe other which didn't have an invitation.

I'll email you once we'veWe've merged the two accounts, and are working on a way to automatically detect this in the future.

You were logged in as one, accepted the invite, tried to create a profile but couldn't because the email was already registered, then you logged out and logged in as the other which didn't have an invitation.

We've merged the two accounts, and are working on a way to automatically detect this in the future.
