But I became convinced that the option was neither possible nor desirable since SO depends on there being measurable consequences possible for every action. I don't know the exact order of events, but I answered my question before I heard about the podcast. It's possible my answer triggered Jeff's notice. And yes, the issue seems mostly to be personal, though I worry it will become more common as people become more expert in the topics they participate in. (But I'm likely wrong.) | |
