Possible Duplicate:
How do I audit my reputation?

I went to this URL expecting an explanation of reptuation scores on MSO: https://meta.stackoverflow.com/reputation

I was surprised to find a completely plain-text dump of some sort of voting numbers. I didn't linger long enough to actually interpret any of the data.

Same is true on the main site: http://www.stackoverflow.com/reputation

Is this deliberate, or is this the man behind the curtain peeking out?

  • Short answer: it's meant to be like that.

...or is this the man behind the curtain peeking out? Uuhhh...there are laws against that! Nov 22 '11 at 12:47
  • Man people are jerks on meta... I get downvoted (diff question), I write 4 sentences and get a TLDR. Maybe I'll go back to my main SO kiddie pool =P Nov 22 '11 at 12:47

@Bobby: I was thinking of the wizard of OZ. I'm not sure where your mind is :) Nov 22 '11 at 12:49
  • @AakashM: Are you saying I'm getting trolled? Cause really, I'm not kidding. I'll stay the hell off meta if people aren't expected to be respectful. /ragequits Nov 22 '11 at 12:51
  • No, I was smiling at your concern that you were seeing something you shouldn't :)

  • @AakashM: Ah k. Nm. I'm just a little grumpy about being 200 rep on this site. :) Nov 22 '11 at 12:53

Never forget that voting works differently on Meta. The Meta community is (as I see it) a very close and, from the outside, strange bunch of people. Also, most people down here are jokers (me included). This is the only site were we are allowed to be that way. ;) Nov 22 '11 at 13:03
