Possible Duplicate:
Eeeeek - what happened to my @ salutation?

I was commenting on my question How to return Specific Class types without a large Select/Switch and usually I can enter the @User and then details will be displayed, but today when I entered the information, the @text was removed as I posted the question.

Has the process for this changed?

I tested this in FeedDemon (inline), Firefox 10, and Chrome 16.0.912.75 and none seem to be working.

  • I assume the two times you said "question" you mean "answer" and "comment", respectively – Michael Mrozek Jan 16 '12 at 7:17
  • @MichaelMrozek yes, I was commenting on the Answer from Marc Gravell, and usually I just type the @ use... and a popup appears. Like it did just now when I typed it.. No dice on SO today. Worked just the other day when I write on stackoverflow.com/questions/8811383/… read some of that other info, it's just way to complex ... 1 user no, 2 users yes, either it works or it doesn't to many different rules for the engine imo. – Paul Farry Jan 16 '12 at 7:28
