Possible Duplicate:
Expanding an event group shows more events than labeled when there are new events

I was looking at some recently earned reputation here on Meta and noticed that the activity log seemed to be duplicating some events within rollups.

In this screenshot, 25 + 5 = 30, everything seems to be in order. 25 + 5 = 30

When we expand the rollup of 5 events, 6 events get displayed. It looks like the most recent upvote gets displayed twice, both at the top and in the rollup. You can't explain that

I almost thought I was losing points somehow before I noticed that it was likely that the latest was duplicated on the display.

  • One short sentence: AJAX asynchronous loading. Oh and a shorter word: Dupe. :-) – Martijn Pieters Jan 8 '13 at 7:33
  • Ahh, sorry for the dupe. As far as the ajax updates to the feed though, couldn't the update refresh the whole reputation listing above so it wouldn't get all crazy? You could also track by title/action/timestamp to get finer-grain control of what to update/remove/create on the ajax load. Just some thoughts. – Alex Moore Jan 8 '13 at 7:44
