This question already has an answer here:

I want to remove some photos from http://i.stack.imgur.com, because they are breaking my privacy (they contain my personal information). How can I do that or who should I ask to do that?

Use the contact form linked to at the bottom of any page and send us the links to the images you want removed.

  • Are you with imgur? Because I also have an image there with personal information that I've been trying for months to get removed, and all my requests have been ignored. – user137369 Aug 9 '15 at 16:06

@user137369 No, I work at Stack Exchange. We can remove images hosted on our private Imgur instance (i.stack.imgur.com) but not Imgur proper. – Adam Lear Aug 9 '15 at 16:25

Go to Imgur and file a removal request. If it contains personal information, I'm sure they'd comply with your request, even for images hosted on Stack's Imgur domain.

    Ok, how long should I wait ? – TN888 Oct 23 '13 at 16:39
  • @Ty221 6-8 weeks/months/years. Sometimes they act only upon DMCA Takedown requests, and it's their full right. – ShaWiz Nov 28 '16 at 16:19
