As I was closing terrible questions, I noticed something strange in the Careers ad:
There appears to be an encoding problem. I'm not sure what is supposed to be there, but it shows �
instead.
More examples:
- Leadership for Educational� instead of Leadership for Educational Equity.
- Stansberry and Associates� instead of Stansberry and Associates Investment Research.
It appears to only happen to companies that have long names.
I just found out that �
is the UTF-8 representation of �
, which is the Unicode replacement character. See this answer at Stack Overflow for more information.
