When searching for some help on a topic on XML Namespaces, I encountered the following in my Google search:

snapshot of search results

The 2nd item in search results pointed to Why "Namespace 'http://www.w3.org/XML/1998/namespace' is not available to be referenced in this schema."? however, the title of the question is no where close to what the title is as it appears in the Google search.

I was logged into google and Stack Overflow at the time. The search string was "namespace not available to be referenced in this schema" (without quotes).

  • What is your exact search term? – Shadow 10 Years Wizard Dec 17 '14 at 23:45
  • Yeah, reproduced. Weird! – Shadow 10 Years Wizard Dec 17 '14 at 23:52
  • I was able to reproduce this once about 30 min ago, but no longer can. Curios if it is due to a Google caching hiccup? – Sam Berry Dec 18 '14 at 7:15
  • @SamB. still showing the same for me. – psubsee2003 Dec 18 '14 at 12:19

I can reproduce it on my my macbook but not in any browser on my iPhone. Bing and Yahoo don't seem to have the same issue--I blame Google. – Sam Berry Dec 22 '14 at 6:24
