This issue is probably related to another one: Header and footer width is not enough in iOS

iOS 11.2.6 iPad Pro 10.5”

  • @Glorfindel did you see the red circle? – αλεχολυτ Mar 29 '18 at 21:20
  • @Glorfindel Totally different problem. Not a duplicate. – Sonic the Reinstate Monica-hog Mar 29 '18 at 21:23
  • ah, wrong gray area ... – Glorfindel Mar 29 '18 at 21:26
  • @SonicWizard he just probably overlooked due to my bad explanation and wording. If you can improve this question please do it. – αλεχολυτ Mar 29 '18 at 21:26

It looks good as is. – Sonic the Reinstate Monica-hog Mar 29 '18 at 21:27
  • @Glorfindel 50 shades of grey uploader area :) – αλεχολυτ Mar 29 '18 at 21:27
  • No repro. Please specify browser and OS. (tag iOS isn't enough, what device? Why not using mobile theme?) – Shadow The Princess Wizard Mar 29 '18 at 23:05

@ShadowWizard device screen size is enough to use full site version – αλεχολυτ Mar 30 '18 at 4:34
  • Size is not relevant, thing is using the full site theme on mobile device. Since it was never meant this way, design problems are totally expected – Shadow The Princess Wizard Mar 30 '18 at 4:48
  • @ShadowWizard don’t use full site on mobile device, don’t use mobile site on desktop device... pfff... it’s possible to make site less dependent on device, but you will always consider such and other things “too minor to implement”. – αλεχολυτ Mar 30 '18 at 5:15
  • @ShadowWizard Would you suggest using the full or mobile site on a Microsoft Surface RT? – Sonic the Reinstate Monica-hog Mar 30 '18 at 6:24
  • Never said "don't use", I mean that if using things in a way they were not meant to be used, problems are expected. – Shadow The Princess Wizard Mar 30 '18 at 6:40
  • @SonicWizard if it is considered a mobile device then mobile site theme. Otherwise, full site theme. – Shadow The Princess Wizard Mar 30 '18 at 6:41
  • @ShadowWizard The thing I was trying to point out was, there is no concrete distinction between devices considered a "mobile" device and a "non-mobile" device. – Sonic the Reinstate Monica-hog Mar 30 '18 at 6:43
  • @SonicWizard maybe, but SE can't possibly test and support all possible devices in their design. I believe the upcoming responsive design will solve most of those problems. – Shadow The Princess Wizard Mar 30 '18 at 7:32

Looks fixed now, but iOS version is slightly newer than it was. 11.4.1:

no white at the right side
