There is a problem with the font on the Code of Conduct page of ruSO. As you can see below, the font quite different.

English CoC:

Russian CoC:

As I can see, original font contains Cyrillic symbols. But SO version doesn't, so the browser has to fall back to a local system font for the characters that aren't in the web font.

Could you update the font in CDN, so it looks and feels the same on Eng and Rus pages?

Could you be more clear about what's the problem, exactly? I have only a very basic understanding of Russian but I can read it (though I don't understand some of the words, obviously). – Glorfindel Aug 15 '18 at 12:44

@Glorfindel the problem here is that fonts are different. It's not about the text content itself. – Suvitruf Aug 15 '18 at 12:45

@Glorfindel if I understand it correctly, the Roboto Slab webfont on the SE CDN that is supposed to be used there doesn't contain cyrillic characters. What the browser does according to the dev tools is to fall back to a local system font for the characters that aren't in the web font. – Mad Scientist Aug 15 '18 at 12:49
  • @MadScientist exactly. – Suvitruf Aug 15 '18 at 12:50
  • It supports it originally – vp_arth Aug 15 '18 at 12:50
  • @vp_arth official version yes, but SO uses different version.. – Suvitruf Aug 15 '18 at 12:51
  • @Glorfindel any updates? – Suvitruf Sep 10 '18 at 20:16
  • Heh, I'm not working for Stack Overflow so I don't have any updates :) – Glorfindel Sep 10 '18 at 20:17
  • @Glorfindel oh, sorry. So, basically, this thread was ignored by SE employees =/ – Suvitruf Sep 10 '18 at 20:19
  • @Suvitruf Я не знаю. – Glorfindel Sep 10 '18 at 20:20
  • @Glorfindel :D thanks, anyways – Suvitruf Sep 10 '18 at 20:21
