I had Stack Overflow app on my phone. When I got my new phone, Stack Overflow Android app wasn't transferred because it wasn't in Play Store. When I search "StackOverflow Android app" on Google, it returns this URL but it looks like it was unpublished from Play Store. I was able to find v1.0.4 APK in apkmirror.

iOS version is still there.

What happened to the Android app?

Could it have been removed from Play Store due to recent privacy policies introduced in Play Store, and devs forgot to fix it? – alashow Sep 2 '18 at 21:20

Cross-site dupe on MSO: What happened to the Stack Overflow app for Android? No official answer yet. – Floern Sep 2 '18 at 21:22
  • @Floern thanks, I couldn't find that question. – alashow Sep 2 '18 at 21:27

It has been moved inside Stack Exchange app.

Not really. The Stack Exchange app existed before the Stack Overflow app ... – Glorfindel Oct 1 '18 at 11:31
  • I haven't said the contrary – George Lords of Castle Oct 1 '18 at 11:31

This answer is simply wrong. As the other comment said, SE app was first, and has not been changed a tiny bit for several years. Nothing was "merged" into it. – Shadow Wizard is Ear For You Oct 1 '18 at 19:46
