You need to change your perception of SO. Stack isn't for 'I absolutely need this fixed NOW'. If you need that your best bet is a contractor. Stack's intent is to be a repository of great knowledge. Questions and answers should all go in that direction: being written for posterity. In that scheme of things, your personal needs aren't really the important part (not to be insulting, it's just how Stack is) – Patrice Feb 8 '19 at 1:35

Also, do you know what an MCVE is? It would help your question greatly :) (stackoverflow.com/help/mcve) – Patrice Feb 8 '19 at 1:37

At the time you asked this meta question, your question on SO was less than 30 minutes old. Have some patience. No site can have every question in existence answered within half an hour. – Pika the Wizard of the Whales Feb 8 '19 at 2:02
  • While this has already been covered, there are a LOT of better ways to pull in attention, but none of which apply after half an hour. Depending on the complexity of the question, it can even take weeks to get answers. Like Patrice mentioned, SO isn't for getting critical answers you need right now, and even if you need it quickly, if it's within 30 minutes you can get help a lot quicker by asking someone IRL or hiring someone. SO and SE is after all powered by volunteers who help because they want to, not because they have to. – Zoe Feb 8 '19 at 13:15

Lots of people are online. SO actually suffers from being too busy.

There's a few slightly fundamental issues even as a SO outsider

  • you have a large block of code which might count as a minimum verifiable code sample but no sign of what you have done. It's worth however drilling down to as close to where the problem is as possible rather than posting a large chunk. Put the minimum in mvcs...

  • a quick look at the tag indicates that there's a lot of unanswered questions. This can be an opportunity to get reputation, but also a sign that for some reason the lua experts and presumably Roblox experts aren't looking at the tag.

  • there's no guarantee of an answer, and certainty not a quick one, even with a bounty.

My advice would be to keep working on the problem while waiting for an answer. Update the question periodically as you work through it and post an answer if you solve it.

Unfortunately, we do not guarantee answers at all, let alone speedy ones. The best you can do is to wait. Have patience. While you wait, why don't you edit your question to make it better? The better you make your question, the better the chance you'll get an answer.
