UPDATE (02/09/2019) It has been over 26 32 days since Congratulations to our 29 oldest beta sites - They're now no longer beta! appeared on Featured on Meta.
The news was great, 99% of users who viewed the announcement celebrated. Everybody appreciated the work and zeal that achieved this long overdue decision. As of today, 454 users have cast an upvote. The post itself has attracted over 81,000 views, so safe to say that the news is... “old”?

Is adding a drop menu prohibitive? Has anyone else thought of this feature? In any case, the question is also asking when the team will replace the 27-day-old announcement.
Variety is the spice of life etc.
