In Opera clicking the "share" label will make that box pop up:

This won't happen in older (as far as version 47) Chromium builds, which is not a great deal as long as the important bit is in the link one can copy ("Copy Link Address"), not the pop up box which (at least in my case) only includes some other unimportant media.

I would have expected a message in the scripts console of developer tools, but none happened.

As there is no red message in developer tools, I can't tell if this looks like bug or feature.

  • There's no guarantee that older versions of browsers are supported, and SE won't probably fix this unless it affects recent versions and/or many users. See also this question – Meta Andrew T. Sep 15 '19 at 13:26
