For Discourse forums you can get new posts and topics by mail and also reply to them by mail.

Is there a way to get all the latest topics and posts from a specific Stack Exchange site by mail or some kind of API and maybe also reply to them?

I could only find stuff related to notifications via email.

RSS feeds should do the trick, wouldn't they? – fbueckert Nov 7 at 14:56
  • If they can send me each new topic and post, yes. Can they? Afaik you are limited to tags and you can't post. – prowin Nov 7 at 15:52
  • You can try stackexchange.com, and click on Filtered Questions. One of the options is, "All questions". – fbueckert Nov 7 at 16:32

  • What do you mean by "all the latest topics and posts"? – Peter Mortensen Nov 7 at 18:48

What is the traffic level of the Stack Exchange site you have in mind? Stack Overflow gets about 9000 questions on a weekday (at least visible through https://stackoverflow.com/questions - some are probably deleted). – Peter Mortensen Nov 7 at 19:01

  • @PeterMortensen Something like new topics and comments posted in the last 24h hours. I know you can filter by tag but some sites have hundreds while at the same time having maybe a few dozen posts per day. If there is some way to get a list of all tags, and automatically feed them to the rss then this would be an option. – prowin Nov 7 at 22:51
