An alternative may or may not be English Language Learners. But the answer will likely be the same. Better go with the dictionary. The URL can be manipulated to test for existence (though there is always the risk of false negatives). The EL&U folks use n-gram, but that is probably overkill.– This_is_NOT_a_forumAug 6 at 11:14
