My first language is Spanish, I'm from México, I have being participating actively on several Stack Exchange Network (SEN) sites from years and I still found weird the use of "we" and "our", the first person plural, when someone is talking about the SEN workings. The same happens with the CoC wording.

When I read "our mission...", "our expectations..." my first impression is that someone from a very closed group is talking and that I'm not being welcoming. I will feel more comfortable if the wordings use the third person neuter.
