LEGO Stack Overflow Hat
Basically I made a life-size and wearable LEGO ball cap with Stack Overflow logo.
(Yes, it's 100% LEGO; I'm a purist. Angles achieved mainly by SNOT building via hinged plates.)
Possible task to get the hat:
Pick-up-the-pieces: Edit a negatively scored question, that later gets a positive score.
But wait you ask, are LEGO ...
Well, I am generally researching X-ray tomography. I went to the lab to ask them if I could put a cheese in one of the machines, but they are not cool with it....
So I simulated an X-ray machine on the cheese and reconstructed the result for better analysis. I used MATLAB and the TIGRE toolbox*.
%% Create cheese

For this hat, I wanted to put together something that reflects my experience on Stack Exchange. So, I looked at my top sites, the sites I've been using for the longest time.
I went in search of something that combined Movies & TV, English Learning, Meta, Cooking, Interpersonal Skills, and Arts & Crafts.
So, I started by looking for an iconic film ...
Here's a clock that will never overflow, the Stack Overflow Binary Clock™:
This is basically a binary clock based on the Stack Overflow logo. This clock is ideal for all programmers, because (a) we speak binary and (b) it uses the Stack Overflow logo.
I wrote the code myself using RxJS, since reactive programming is hot nowadays. The snippet can be found ...
I've made a Stack Overflow tin foil hat that from now on I'll be wearing everywhere with pride:
Tin Foil Hat - Protect the network from evil forces by raising 5 helpful spam / offensive flags.
Well, it's gouda you guys to do this, but I'm sure that it will grate on quite a few people. I would proceed very caerphilly with this proposal. Or, on the other hand you could just sit back and have morbier and watch the curds fly.
I would like to offer this advice, because if this really blows up, all that will be left is de brie, and nobody wants that. ...
How about some StackExcheese? Modeled in Blender rendered with Cycles with fully procedural textures (no images harmed during the rendering of this 3D model).
In the Portuguese language there is a common traditional saying that eating a lot of cheese makes you forgetful, so stick around and restore some knowledge from the vast sea of Q&A sites.
I do ...
Since Alexander O'Mara beat me to the Lego, I decided to go with cards instead.
I first tried a self-supporting card-tower helmet (I knew, like you do, that it was never going to work. I tried it anyway. I guess that is just how I am.) After total and totally expected failure, I scratched my head for something else.
This is what I got. Of course, cards ...

We do have Unicoins in China :)
This commemorative coin, the coin of Qilin, is issued by the Chinese central bank in the year 199x. 麒麟(Qilin, or Kirin) is a Chinese mythical chimerical creature, sometimes known as the Chinese unicorn. But the creature on the coin is apparently more like a western unicorn.
This is the Stack of hats! Possibly awarded for, I dunno, Getting All Teh Otehr Hats!!!? *
Not the most comfortable to wear, and I definitely can't mosh with this stack on, but it's a very special stack for a reason...
Can you guess which position my Stack Exchange mod hat is in the stack? Bet you can't...
A wee addition: this is how it should look with ...
Stop Moving My Cheese
Run this stack snippet and try to get the cheese with your cursor.
var showAlert = true;
'left': getRandomInt(0, $(window).width() - $(this).width()),
'top': getRandomInt(0, $(window).height() - $(this).height())
showAlert = true;
tl;dr - just watch the video - I'm a big fan of the ending! Cheese Overflow (not at all deliberate...)
I once entertained* my girlfriend in a park in Denmark with a reasonably accurate rendition of all of the collected works of Monty Python's Flying Circus (we did have to wait many hours for the next ferry back from Esbjerg to the UK)
The only one she ...

I totally agree
You know, I totally agree.
You see, on my posts I'm never intrusive, that's why I never use <kbd></kbd>
Though I always wanted to make an unpressable button.
And, ladies and gentlemen, the nothing-button!
You see, now that this is fixed,
I use ...
