I am a senior electronics engineer and IT professional with a 30+ year career behind me in software development, IT production, IT management and more. For 1½ years I worked with the smartest guys in the world at AT&T Bell Labs in New Jersey on automatic speech recognition using statistical methods, the same methods used today in AI. I was a first mover in the area of object oriented programming in the 90'ies (C++ amongst other languages).

In my spare time I am a passioned runner, hiker, dancer, swimmer, scuba-diver, sailor and glider pilot. No longer doing software development at work, I like to fuel my passions with technology that I develop myself if not available from other sources, both hard- and software, database, backend and frontend technology. Currently my goal is to make a difference in the environmental protection of water bodies (lake, ocean, sea).
